LOW COST BAMBOO HOUSE
Amongst the events of the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2010, MAPP, Museo d’Arte Paolo Pini and Studio LAND promoted “Think Green”, an experimental workshop.
The modules in bamboo, dry mounted, are filled with earth, and besides acting as a support structure and providing thermal insulation, allows for planting, thus suggesting the use of these aromatic structures as walls and vertical urban gardens.

Studio Càrdenas has implemented the project ‘Think Green’, organized by the museum ‘Museo d'Arte Paolo Pini’ in collaboration with Studio Land, artist Marica Moro and the two curators Fortunato D'Amico and Alessandra Coppa, during the event of ‘Fuori Salone’. The event provided a workshop with the theme of ‘Man and earth’, meetings and discussions, as well as an exercise of self-construction of two greenhouses in bamboo.
