Building the EXPO 

The idea of the Building the Expo exhibition was first conceived of by MADE events and is comprised of: 
-an exhibit that previews over thirty Expo Milano 2015 pavilions by way of drawings, construction details, materials and full scale mock-ups, along with various photographs and videos of the construction sites.
-a seminar cycle with the leading professionals and manufacturers involved in the design and construction of the projects.

Studio Cardenas participated by presenting the mock-up of the dynamic facades of the colombia pavilion.
The mock-up was created by Legnolandia Srl, the same company that was responsible for the construction of the wooden structure of the pavilion. The stand of the company also was a scale reproduction of the structure of one of the four modules of the pavilion.
