CULTURE NATURE EVENT
Along with the 12th Mostra Internazionale di Architettura della Biennale di Venezia will be held from August 27th to November 21th 2010, there will be a side-event organized by Culture_Nature at Spazio Thetis in the Arsenale Novissimo di Venezia. This area will display a series of multidisciplinary projects dealing with nature and Mauricio Cardenas, consistent with the theme of the event, will present BooTech, a prototype of a geodesic dome made in bamboo and Think Green, a greenhouse, also made of elements in bamboo, that is an exercise in self-construction. Also, among the showed projects are visible projects of students of the Technological Innovation course held at the Politecnico of Torino by Mauricio Cardenas.
