ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE
Located in via Paleocapa, the street that connects the Piazza of Cadorna train station with Milan’s main public garden Sempione, the project has had an important evolution after the founding of important archeological pieces following the first site excavations that regard original walls of the Sforzesco Castle nearby. The first underground floor is then studied as an exhibition area to host the various archeological pieces. Natural light is brought inside through skylights that are visible from the sidewalk in order to indicate pedestrians that something special occurs underground. Light comes in the spaces punctually creating an atmosphere that invocates that one of the past such as the Panteon.
