AN HOLISTIC STRUCTURE
The concept for the museum comes from a ‘holistic’ view on the design and based on the idea that the properties of a system cannot be explained just as a sum of its single parts. The flight museum is conceived as a biological being (the most ‘holistic’ structure). The proposals are not onlt stylistic or layout design but are already focused on the theme of norms on energetic requirement, the use of renewable energy and the best comfort on interiors and on exterior areas. Men are the epicenter of the project. distribution axis are marking the main systems on the museum structure. The main axis that comes across, is equipperd with a photovoltaic pannels shertered path. Those photovoltaic pannels cannot be integrated with the antique structure because of artistic restrictions but this could make the museum as a remarkable sustainable design, the first on this area. On the other axis, a wind turbine would be an inportant spot, viewable from the airport and very important as a sign of ecologial technology.
