A SMART BUILDING
The methodological approach proposed is based on three assumptions from which descend a set of integrated choices that relate to three different scales of intervention:
- The first assumption concerns the urban scale, aims to change the public's understanding and use of this degraded area, and return fully integrated to the urban context.
- The second assumption concerns the building structure or the system of relations endogenee - between the building structure and the court - and exogenous or between the body and the other proposed sites of interest in contiguous incubator, foundation, market area, university.
- The third assumption concerns the building scale and seeks the adoption of distribution solutions, architectural, structural and innovative plant, both in terms of environmental sustainability that the mode of implementation and management aiming at its integration with the operations to be carried out ex- novo to connote the character and image of the innovative function chosen, all pervasive in a sense sustainability. the Technological Pole will be a highly skilled, flexible and open, a center of high specialization. The pole should not be a closed, insurmountable: the new center will feature choices that qualify as "permeable" and "attractive." The new court and the redevelopment of the square will act as poles of attraction that can strengthen the structure of services in this part of town. The aim is to make the new intervention hinge of the new network equipment provided to S.Agabio and, as such , a magnet capable of attracting new interest is in a potentially strategic point of the city, currently at the margins. The regeneration of urban areas and their forgotten reappropriation is the only answer to the degradation of the suburbs. Purpose of the course is to create a building in a "smart" way to accommodate advanced tertiary functions, but in a broader, related to the theme of the conversion of the area and the periphery in general, you can not lose sight of the possibility to contribute with this project to turn a suburban neighborhood, affection, among others, problems of social deprivation and exclusion, a polymorphic district, the center of new initiatives and activities. The realization of the technology center will be an opportunity, for the rehabilitation of the physical and architectural places in a "sensitive" way.
